Extender pushes PC KVM out by 150m
The U97-H2 extends a PC's desktop with two video screens, keyboard, mouse, stereo audio and serial port 150m to a remote station using two Cat5 cables.
Hall Research Technologies has added the U97-H2 to its KVM extension product line. The U97-H2 extends a PC's desktop with two video screens (dual-head), keyboard, mouse, stereo audio and serial port 150m to a remote station using two Cat5 cables. The transmitter provides a local set of connections for allowing access to the PC locally as well as from the remote station.
The local user and a remote user can access the same PC automatically.
The extension system provides 100% real-time video, keyboard and mouse access.
The system is completely transparent to the PC's hardware and software, and installs in minutes.
For ease of installation, the transmitter unit includes a rack-mount kit and the remote unit has mounting brackets.
The extender kit is priced at $950 and includes the transmitter, receiver, power supplies and cables for connection to the PC.
