How People Make Money Online
I'm sure you've seen advertisements such as "Make a $1,000 a day" or something of the sort if the browse the internet. So are there people really making this much money? What are they doing? How are they doing it? Let me explain.
First, yes there are plenty of people making a $1,000 a day online. There are some people making much more and some people making much less. But how are they doing it?
Well there are all sorts of ways but I will focus on affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is basically advertising someone else's product to make money. You make money because you are an affiliate of their product. Every time you make a sale for them you get a percentage of the sale. It works out great for both sides.
The sales are tracked by a special tracking code in a link you are provided. Each sale is tracked. Most of this is done by companies who act as "middlemen" between thr product's owner and the affiliates. Two of the more popular ones are clickbank (www.clickbank.com) and commission junction (www.cj.com). I recommend both if you are considering affiliate marketing. Although some people do run their own affiliate program, it is uncommon.
Some of the ways people market affiliate products are by posting on forums, PPC (Pay Per Click), writing articles, paid targeted advertising services (such as guaranteed visitors and e-mails), SEO (search engine optimization), opt-in e-mailing, newsletters and classifieds. Each of these methods takes time to learn and master. There are two ways to learn the above. You can do it all on your own which takes a huge amount of time, but is very possible. You can pay for informational products which will cost money obviously but will save you an enormous amount of time.
