SchmartBoard has signed three new specialty distributors to market its line of prototyping boards. Straight Road Electronics, a distributor based in Irvine, California, distributes products that are used in R and D and product development to industry customers nationwide. Marvac Electronics, based in Costa Mesa, California, has five retail locations that serve local markets in Los Angeles, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Sacramento as well as the area around its Costa Mesa headquarters.

Marvac also accepts online sales from customers nationwide.

Electronic School Supply, based in Santa Maria, California, sells electronic components exclusively to educational institutions.

The company will create custom lab kits that include SchmartBoards for use in engineering programs at colleges, universities and technical schools nationwide.

Many of these entities are currently making the transition from through-hole components to surface mount components in and effort to give students a more real-world experience.

SchmartBoard makes this transition possible.
