A DSTN LCD video controller, specifically designed to take PC video input from VGA up to SVGA resolution has been introduced by Digital View, a world leader in LCD flat panel display interfacing. Supporting DSTN/STN colour panels from the leading manufacturers, the compact controller offers excellent image stability, simple 'plug and play' connectivity, and full screen image expansion for VGA. A compact high performance single board solution, the ST-0800 interface controller card enables analogue connection to 3.3V and 5V DSTN/STN colour panels.
Offering 'plug and play' with VESC DDC 1 and 2B compliance, this small form-factor controller card uses simple, mini dipswitch settings for selecting the built-in support for chosen LCD panels.
With on-screen display (OSD) of all functions, the controller offers VESA DPMS-compliant backlight management, which will power-down the panel and the backlight if either horizontal or vertical sync.

Measuring only 178 x 91.5 x 20mm (maximum height), the ST-0800 requires a 12V DC input, and features dual colour LED indication of power on and valid video mode detection.
All controller cards are provided with clear instructions for interconnection, and have pre-drilled mounting holes at Digital View's standard spacings to facilitate ease of interchange.
