Computing platforms show up for broadcasters
I-Bus/Phoenix will be exhibiting a new range of high reliability computer platforms at IBC 2001. The IBP-1 and IBP-2 high-density platforms, displayed for the first time to IBC visitors, are designed specifically for the broadcast market. They address many of the industry's critical issues such as space saving chassis, full system cooling, hot-swap technology and mission-critical 24/7 performance.
A choice of systems is available, designed as application ready platforms for quick time to market.
The IBP-1 offers ISA or PCI expansion, dual hot-swap IDE or SCSI disks and exceptional internal cooling in a flexible 1U rack mount or desktop enclosure system.
Similarly, the IBP-2 offers ISA/PCI expansion, four hot-swap disks, CD-ROM and floppy drive support, optional dual-feed, dual-redundant, hot-swap PSU, and exceptional internal cooling in a 2U rack mount or desktop system.
Unlike many other exhibitors at IBC, I-Bus/Phoenix actually manufactures many of the platforms on which broadcast companies base their solutions.
As a true OEM product developer, I-Bus/Phoenix offers its customers a flexible choice of systems that fulfil the power and performance criteria needed to bring innovative solutions to the marketplace.
This year's theme of 'design-manufacture-solution' reflects the company's ability to turnaround fully integrated products in rapid time from dedicated manufacturing sites in the UK and USA.
A flexible policy of close co-operation with clients, means I-Bus/Phoenix design platforms according to application needs with the added benefits of priority shipping and full customer support.
