New from Digital View comes a low cost, small form factor interface controller, providing rapid direct analogue VGA connection for a wide range of TFT LCD panels with resolutions of 640 x 480. The product is a compact, single board solution, providing built in support for all the major VGA panels from the main manufacturers like Sharp, Toshiba, NEC, LG and Samsung, with simple mini dip switch selection. Offering excellent image stability and cost effective performance, the Digital View AC-9512 VGA provides simple 'plug and play' connectivity to DDC-2B, and VESA DPMS support for OEM monitor and packaged flat panel solutions.
The AC-9512 VGA interface controller enables rapid direct connection to both 3.3 and 5V TFT colour panels and measures just 178 x 91.5 x 20mm (maximum height), requiring a 12V DC input.
Providing auto selection of graphics mode, it offers over 262,000 colours and features power sequencing and protection.
The controller provides on-screen display of all functions, and offers VESA DPMS compliant back-light management.
It features LED indication for power-on and standby, and an auxiliary power output.
All controller cards are provided with clear instructions for interconnection, and have pre-drilled mounting holes at Digital View's standard spacings to facilitate ease of interchange.
They can be supplied with a choice of connectors and cables to match the chosen LCD and back-light.
They can also be supplied with a wide choice of standard or touch screen LCD panels, a commercial/industrial open-frame housing, back-light inverter, and a power supply.
