Two PCs squeeze into just 1U of racking

A new 1U (44mm) high dual computer system for 19in rack mounting, the SR-105-Dual from Sight Systems, is designed for space-critical applications such as servers, networks, telephony and E-commerce. The chassis provides two individual, fully featured computers in a slimline chassis. This means that Internet Service Providers could accommodate up to 84 computer systems in one standard rack cabinet and would have the potential to increase profit margins or offer more competitive charges to their clients.
Using an Intel chipset on each motherboard, each system offers up to 512Mbyte SDRAM and processor speed up to 933MHz with 133MHz FSB.
Two standard IDE hard drives are incorporated each providing up to 75Gbyte capacity.
There are two of everything except for the integral shared power supply: two CD-ROM drives, two floppy disc drives, two USB ports, two printer ports, two VGA ports, two mouse ports, two keyboard ports, two Intel 10/100 network controller cards and four LAN ports.
The slide rail compatible chassis is powered by an integral power supply and incorporates eight fans for effective cooling.
On the front panel there are individual reset facilities and HDD activity indicators.
The chassis is available in any colour to order, but black or beige is standard.
